Sporty Look + Casual Attitude = Perfect Day!

There is so much sporting activities inspiration in fashion at the moment and even I – the probably least sporty person on earth – got a little bit infected. Now, I definitely won’t buy myself a pink jogging dress and restyle the look of Vicky Pollard from Little Britain, but I have my first ever tracksuit top now.

The print totally convinced me and won my heart. It’s part of the Adidas Originals x The Farm collection, a brilliant stroke from the label. All pieces designed by the Brazilian label are full of colourful, happy tropical prints. I love to combine my tracksuit with pieces that are not sporty at all, like you can see in this post. The jacket is too pretty for exercise anyway and deserves to be shown in the city. Wearing towering high heels instead of sneakers completes the look and brings it to a level far away from the playing field.

A few years ago, a look like this would have been on top of my Don’t list, but somehow this changed and now the time is just right. I don’t feel the need to be chic and feminine all the time, but love the “I don’t care” and easy dressing attitude. Adidas Originals, if you continue like this, I will have to make more space in my wardrobe!

Did you ever expect a look like this from me and what do you think about sports influence in fashion?

  1. I think it's gorgeous. I know wearing sports stuff has it's negative reputation, but this is really pretty and fresh. I saw one with flowers all over it as well, bit different than this and thought I would wear that, but I never saw it in any shops in my size 🙁 I like this, a fashion risk worth taking, breaking the rules, what I like to see 🙂 And who can resist flowers and neon!?! Not me 😉 Lovely lovely doll Xxx

  2. That jacket is ridiculous in the most perfect way. It's just totally balancing on the tightrope – the design, the colours, everything is JUST right and just weird enough. Love those doll heads too.

  3. Amazing, love this colourful look! I am the same than you, definitely really girly don't really like sportswear (If i could I would run in heels) and once I wear a jogging to go running and my brother told me "God, this is the first time I see you with a jogging!) But this one is definitely special and divert the original function of the tracksuit playing with the sport wear code with fun adding a couture element in it! And I love how you styled my bag with this look, just look gorgeous on you as you give a new meaning to that piece!
