Parfums de Marly’s bestseller Delina is a feminine, floral, modern fragrance. Since its release in 2017, this fragrance has almost a cult following it. It’s praised as an elegant bouquet of roses with fruity and powdery notes. But is it worth the hype?

How it smells

Delina appears sweet on the skin with the strong litchi note, despite the prominent rhubarb in the top note. It’s blended to perfection and like the best tart you have ever tasted. The fragrance is clean and uplifting, yet rich and complete simultaneously. The longevity is outstanding. I can imagine it as well on a young as on a more mature woman, and this fragrance will not go unnoticed.

The bottle

The bottle of Delina is stunning. Marie Antoinette (and any princess or queen) would be jealous! I love the tassels, the ornaments and the baby pink colour. I have to think of Baroque architecture and Versailles when I see it. Delina has that air of luxury and sophistication that enchants me.

My opinion

This one goes straight to my shelf of favourite perfumes! It was love at first sight, and after giving it some time to experience it on my skin fully, I loved it even more. It’s sexy and innocent, sensual and dreamy. It suits me perfectly and takes me memories of holidays in Turkey, rose water desserts and Turkish delight.
