Bunny Earrings Easter

I know it’s a weird time, but Happy Easter anyway! Let’s hide eggs on our balconies and dress up as cute bunnies even in isolation. Just now it’s especially important to stick to happy rituals, create beautiful moments in our lives, even if they only make us smile for a few seconds until we turn on the news again.

When I told my photographer in February that I want to shoot an Easter-themed picture he looked at me puzzled and asked: *Already?”. I answered that I don’t want to be too late in the end. How little I did know that I would have been too late if we would have waited…

A few days afterwards I bought a vegan chocolate bunny and put it on the desk in the agency where I work. Now I’ve been in isolation for more than three weeks and sometimes think of my bunny that is out of reach, safe from being eaten, in the empty office building.

As I mentioned in previous posts, I didn’t have the time of my life in the second half of 2019. I cheered myself up a lot by saying that in April 2020 all will be good again. I don’t know how I came up with the idea that April would bring the return of happiness, I guess it was just because it seemed enough time to bring some good things. It even turned into a running gag at work among my team that we started to say: “Ah yes, don’t worry, it’s gonna be April soon”. Well, hello April, what did you do with my high hopes? Bring me at least my chocolate bunny, I need soul food in Easter isolation to not end up as a sad bunny.

Wishing you all a Happy Easter no matter the situation!
Keep strong, keep healthy and keep laughing about silly things please! Sending hugs and love.
