Bentley Beyond Mellow Heliotrope Review

Mellow Heliotrope is one of the three new fragrances for women by Bentley Beyond – The Collection. The scents are made for sophisticated women who refuse to take the back seat and appreciate unique luxury. Each fragrance is interpreting a flower picked on an adventurous trip.

How it smells
Mellow Heliotrope takes us to Peru. The floral-oriental composition opens with dazzling spices and fruits and lingers on the skin with delicately powdery and sweet notes.

Heliotrope – a purple Mediterranean flower– is a very feminine note, rather elegant than provocative. Master perfumer Karine Dubreuil Sereni says that she imagined a soft, sensual woman who thrives in intimate situations wearing it.

The bottle
Bentley’s design studio created a bottle that holds up the same standards and attention to detail as their luxury cars. Every scent has its distinctive colour, which is visible on the hand-stitched suede cap of the flacon. The bottle’s faceted satin glass is inspired by the signature cut-crystal headlights of the Bentley Continental GT.

Bentley Beyond – The Collection: Radiant Osamthus
A joyful fruity-floral fragrance that takes you on a trip to Kyoto. Top notes are Lemon, Mandarin and Neroli; middle notes are Osmanthus, Jasmine and Peach; base Notes are Cedar, Sandalwood, Amber and Musk.

Bentley Beyond – The Collection: Vibrant Hibiscus
A passionate floral scent inspired by Seoul. Top notes are Cassis, Mandarin, Bergamot and Violet Leaves; middle notes are Hibiscus, Peony, Rose, Jasmine and Lily of the Valley; base notes are Sandalwood, Patchouli, Musk and Moss.

Take a bath

Sleep Well

Confession: I can’t sleep without using a pillow spray. There is just nothing more calming and relaxing than putting your head on a deliciously smelling pillow. The Love Sleep Pillow Spray introduced me to this ritual, and I’d never miss it again.

If it comes to collector editions, we all know they’re hot, but I say the hottest is the Carolina Herrera Good Girl Fantastic Pink. You have to admit: There is nothing in the world that can beat a glittering pink stiletto that carries a delicious fragrance!

The fragrance in this pretty shoe remains the same one as the original with its good and bad accords. Those who know and love the sexy oriental gourmand fragrance will be familiar with the notes. Good Girl is an elegant yet playful perfume to wear for nights out. Every spritz spreads a sexy feeling of luxury and the pink glitter makes the unique bottle even look better.

Heart: Tuberose, Jasmin Sambac 
Base: Tonka Bean, Cocoa

Karlie Kloss is the face of Carolina Herrera Good Girl Fantastic Pink and in the retro-futuristic video by Quentin Jones she goes on a pink and galactic adventure to conquer the moon. Because Good Girls can indeed do everything with style and confidence, from ruling the world to exploring new planets! Pink Power forever!

Mugler Angel Eau Croisière

Review Angel Eau Crosiere

A scent like a tropical splash, exotic, playful and creamy. The new limited Angel Eau Croisière feels like a journey to the Copacabana and sipping fruity cocktails under palm trees while watching kitschy sunsets. It’s a promise of adventures and freedom.

How it smells
This gourmand fragrance opens with a splash of fruits like a cocktail and has a sweet and creamy dry down of patchouli and praline – Aliens signature. It’s the second Eau Crosière and in comparison to the 2019 version, this one feels wilder, more complex and botanical.

When I first tried it, I had to think of mango and coconut, two notes not listed in the ingredients. Almost like a Pina Colada, which makes it a perfect fragrance for spring and summer. It’s a little bit girly, but as well classy, playful but rather in a wild than a cute way.

I think Mugler created a summer hit for 2020!

The bottle
Of course, it comes in the familiar and beloved star-shaped Angel bottle. I think I said before, that in my opinion, this is one of the most iconic perfume bottles ever made. I love this years version with the blue and red gradient that comes with a dash of green.

Energize with Goodiebox

Sara is in Love with… Goodiebox review

Surprise, surprise, my second Goodiebox arrived at my doorstep. This month the box is bright and orange and the theme is “Energize”. The items are chosen to help me charge my batteries while experiencing some me-time.

People always call me a busy bee. I tend to fill my calendar from morning to night and sometimes forget to plan time to relax between work at the agency, photo shootings, exhibitions, events and helping out friends. All the things that I do mean a lot to me and fill me with pride and happiness, but sometimes they also let me drop to my bed exhausted. I bet a lot of you know this feeling very well. So thank you Goodiebox for the kind reminder and the inspiration to relax.

What do I think about this months Goodiebox?

I love the brochure that came with the box, the text is written as if it comes from a caring friend, very cute! My favourite item in this box is the Essentials by Goodiebox Face Mist because I love a good face mist to beat the dry winter air. I love as well the Starskin Glowstar Foaming Peeling Puff, I heard so many good things about this peeling sponge.


The only product I won’t use from this box is the James Read H2O Tan Drops, sorry Goodiebox, but I like my pale complexion. But besides that, I got six cool products that I will happily use and I’m already curious for next months Goodiebox.

Me, Myself & I with Goodiebox

Unbox happiness, is the credo of Goodiebox. Who doesn’t dream that happiness comes in boxes and arrives at their doorstep? In the case of Goodiebox, the box is filled with beauty products that promise wellbeing for the soul. Sounds tempting to have a closer look, doesn’t it?

So what exactly is this box full of happiness?

Goodiebox is a monthly subscription box filled with carefully selected trendy beauty products. It started in Denmark, but is now available in several countries, for example as well Switzerland, Germany and Austria. The goal of Goodiebox is to remind women of something they often forget between to-do-lists, multitasking and daily tasks: Taking care of themselves and celebrate #yourselfishness.

Every box is filled with products from Scandinavian beauty brands, hyped trends and established brands, a lot of them in original size and ready to help you to create some me-time. Every box costs CHF 29.95 and contains products worth CHF 100.

My experience:
Does Goodiebox make me happy?

First of all, I have to mention the beautiful box. I already had to smile when I opened the cardboard and spotted the pastel-coloured beauty. There was a letter to myself in the box, thanking me and telling me that I do deserve to do more good things for myself. Very cute! The next thing I opened was the flyer with the carefully described details of all products in the box.

The products are chosen according to my skin type and are well-chosen: As a big fan of Zarkoperfume I was delighted to find one of their perfumes as a mini in my box. I am curious to try the Glov Moon Pads as well since I was curious for a long time if I could replace the cotton pads in my bathroom with a more sustainable solution. I didn’t hear of Noabay and de_Cure before which makes both products interesting to try. The Dr Botanicals hand cream delighted me too since rose is one of my fav scents.

So all in I think the box is a success! Excuse me, can’t write more, I need to take me-time now 😉
