Do you sometimes imagine how it would be to have a twin sister? According to Wikipedia, there are 9 to 16 twins per 1,000 births in Europe. My grand aunts were two of them and not only, but for a while even oldest twins alive at the age of 99.

I am a twin too, just not by birth: I have several fashion twin sisters. We don’t share our genes, but our style and a love for certain fashion pieces. While everybody of us is craving for uniqueness, it’s also a pleasure to discover amazing girls all over the world having a similar taste in common. There is nothing better than sharing the excitement about the newest finds together.

Here I present a few examples of bloggers I love, wearing the same as I do. I love to see how different one piece can be styled. All those girls inspire me and probably I do the same sometimes. I love you; gorgeous fashion sisters and I am proud to share some pieces of my wardrobe with you!

Do you have fashion twins too, lovelies and what do you think about these looks?

Long legs for tiny girls: Platforms, please!

Cute, cuter, the cutest, my outfit! Oh yes, I try to fit as much Kawaii in my outfit as possible. Bubblegum pink is my colour therapy, candy floss my philosophy. A few years ago I tended to dress black or gray, whenever I had a difficult time. Nowadays I think that’s completely the wrong thing: Colours (and especially pastel colours) are an astonishing antidote against dark moods. Don’t underestimate the power of cuteness!
I especially love this outfit, because it contains many things that make me smile. Making soap bubbles during the shooting was just too much fun. I nearly emptied the whole bottle, because I couldn’t stop anymore.  I didn’t do this for ages and was fascinated by how wonderful the bubbles look in the light. Isn’t it amazing how beautiful something as simple as soap bubbles can be?
Today’s look includes the fulfillment of a dream: A while ago, I spotted this pink hair collar on a page. I didn’t know who designed it or where to get it, but it was love at first sight and never left my mind. A few months later I was introduced to a lovely French girl called Clara Chérie and was so surprised to see it on her page again, among a lot of wonderful creations. I begged her that I needed to wear this, and here it is on my neck. Dreams don’t burst like soap bubbles all the time, but sometimes they come true in Barbie land!
What are your fashion dreams come true my lovelies?

Yay, it’s weekend, finally! I can’t tell you how much this makes me jump from joy. I just want to sing, dance in circles, drink Pimms and laugh about silly things while wearing my biggest fascinator and killer heels.
This week seemed never-ending and very hard: I left London again and still feel so heartbroken. I just love this city with all my heart and hate this exclusion from my personal paradise. As well I was buried under a sky-high pile of work at my daytime job, and there was no time left to prepare everything I intended to do for you. It stings and feels like disappointing you.
What helps more to brighten up a dark time like this than looking at beautiful things? I wish that my favorites of the week let your eyes shine, just as they did with mine. I already bought three of the things. Maybe you can guess which ones, you clever things?
Have a happy weekend lovelies and keep your eyes open for everything pretty.

Dreamy Mood: Pastels are definitely good for my mood.

Probably the only moment in life when everything is blank is the second after birth. In this single instant, everything is open and possible. Later on, you start realizing that you have to make millions of decisions, every minute, every second. A lot of them are very simple ones – like where do you want to have lunch or if you prefer the cinema or the art museum.

Sometimes even those decisions have unexpected side effects: Taking the tube instead of the bus could lead into meeting an amazing person that will change your life. Who are you, who am I, but a mishmash of millions of decisions? Thinking about all this data you have to deal with, the human brain appears as a super computer, doesn’t it?

People are born into a specific culture and with their very own unique skills. Knowing what we can’t and can sometimes provide the feeling of just following the path of what was given to us. I say this is just one page of the story. You are your very own artist, constantly choosing colours and painting your life story.

Decisions close doors and open new ones. Don’t underestimate them, not even the apparently simple ones. I choose to wear my pastel kimono today; this might change your opinion about me. Maybe you are here for the very first time, and your impression about me has been made according to this look. I believe that my day could have turned out differently with another outfit. Maybe not significant, but just a little.

I wonder what adventures the kimono will bring me today.
My decision of the day: I don’t say no to any colour, but just wear them all.

Not without fulfilling a prejudice: Wearing moon earrings is a must.
rare london, flower print jacket, ethnic fashion
You will see my prophecy will come true!

Let’s do something completely different! Why not try to create a modern ethnic look? I was never particularly interested in this kind of look, but a visit to the Gaultier exhibition changed my mind. No, I don’t restyle something I’ve seen there, but  the global ethnic motifs of this ingenious designer left their traces. As well this look is a tribute to the Tatty Devine AW2014 collection, dedicated to the mystics of fortune telling and divination. I don’t own one of the pieces yet, but I thought it were fun to style an inspired look with something from a past collection of theirs.

I get excited when I find something all new to try out, I just love to transform. Very often I have the impression that a lot of girls just want to be pretty and dresses after this maxim. How boring I say! There is nothing wrong about looking beautiful I agree, but that’s really not what fashion is about. Fashion is a game: You can be whatever you want to be. Just dress and play!

Don’t fall into the trap of following habits, banish your favourite colour for a day and leave your comfort zone. If you show the world something except your best side, you may discover you have some good sides you didn’t see before.

How do you like my fortune teller look lovelies?

Just when we started to wonder if there wouldn’t be a new Dazzle & Jolt collection, they come back not just with a bang, but the greatest show on earth. The circus is in town and what a great one it is: Banging colours, roaring lions and all the popcorn you can imagine in your wildest dreams.

While they started with designing t-shirts, there is an exciting premiere happening: Now you can wear Dazzle & Jolt all over prints from head to toe. Their new mini skirt and leggings are just the eye-popping things missing in our lives!

Isabella Blow was known to order whole fashion collections, I consider starting the same, because I can’t decide on a favourite. Dazzle & Jolt doesn’t just do fabulous fashion, but the two girls behind the label are as well the sweetest things on earth you can imagine. I think we should hurry and empty their stock as fast as we can.

Come on, clear the ring, don’t buy mainstream, Dazzle & Jolt is far, far cooler!

Shop the collection here and don’t forget to like Dazzle & Jolt on Facebook.

I don’t care if anybody thinks I’m wearing my pyjama out today. My blogger friend Jessica-Chelsey recently posted a shirt dress look too and said that she feels like Homer Simpson in his moo moo. I constantly think about this while wearing this look, laughing inside.

It’s a relief to wear something with no need to suck in one’s stomach. No reason to worry about the big piece of chocolate pie who is suddenly no longer on the plate but in your stomach (Argh: I am the big destroyer of chocolate, no matter if mousse, or bar, nothing is safe from me). Today’s look screams out loud: I feel good, I’m comfy and I just don’t care about whatever bad you might say about me.

I grew up in a very little village with more cows than residents and back at school there were nasty boys, shouting after me how ugly I am. There was a time when I listened to them and escaped to a world of fantasy books. I spent days dreaming of being a fair storybook princess, wondering why this wasn’t me. For a while I was so embarrassed about myself, I dressed as to make myself as invisible as possible.

I am not born a pretty supermodel, and I can never turn into one like millions of other women. But it’s ok, because this can’t stop a girl with attitude: This is your armor, wear it proud and let it shine in the light like an impenetrable shield. The most beautiful woman is not essentially the most stylish woman and certainly not the most lovely one. Be whatever you are, just be the best one you can be!

Life is just too short to hide, so no invisible looks ever again.

I love Friday Favourites posts on other blogs and always wanted to do something like this for you as well. What kept me back was the fear that I could not manage to publish a post like this on a regular basis every Friday. But today I’m finally brave enough to try. I can’t promise a post like this once a week, but maybe every second or third Friday if you like it.

Today I show you what I discovered while browsing the shops, in the future I might include pictures from blogs I love. I am still so lost in a sea of pink and cuteness. I can’t imagine arising and leaving candy floss land. There is just no end to desiring more bows, more tassels and more hearts in my flamingo crazy heart. I just wish I could turn the sky pink for a day.

I hope your Friday is lovely, I’m enjoying a happy bank holiday, yay! 😀
Sending you lots of love.

Walking on rainbows: The most shiny platform shoes in the world.

Back to a fruits in fashion look, back to pink hair! The old-new hair colour puts me into a playful mood. It feels like having candy floss on the head, and I instantly want to play with it. Headbanging in pastel pink, yeah!

Whenever it rains, I am wish for a rainbow. After an afternoon full of moody gray clouds, there is nothing more beautiful than a sky filled with colours. There is just too much gray in the world, and I try to bring a little bit of rainbow into the hearts of the people. Rainbow shoes and necklace are part of my master plan.

The shoes are my first pair from YRU. I’ve been following this label for quite a while and love their extreme platform shoes. My rainbow sandals caused quite a stir when I went out with them for the first time. The chunky sandals trend hasn’t arrived in Switzerland and I caught people staring at them. I bet if I would have robbed a bank, nobody of the witnesses would have mentioned a girl with pink hair, just shiny rainbow feet.

So my advice of the day: If you have a bad hair day, just wear shoes like these! Nobody will ever notice it again. Have a wonderful day my lovelies, don’t forget your five a day and watch out for rainbows!

You make me happy if you leave a few words, telling me your thoughts about this look.

Interview with Dolls Eyes

Happy birthday to your label Laura! What would you wish for your birthday?
Thank you! I guess I’d have to keep my wish secret or it won’t come true but as its you I’d wish for all my customers to love their ILC jewellery and feel amazing when wearing it!

What was the first piece of jewellery you ever made?
It was some necklaces I made for my sisters one Christmas. They had a gold tree with a white dove that could move up and down the chain as if it was flying, they gave me the idea to sell after that!
You just released a new donut themed collection. What are your next plans now?
Have a rest then on to the next collection! Heres a scoop, the next collection is called “Tropics twilight” and is based around my current Tropics collection with a night time twist! Fingers crossed it will be out this September!

Which of your designs is your personal favourite piece?
Hmmm this question always stumps me! I like experimenting so making new collections is my favourite. I love to create!
What kind of a girl do you imagine to wear your jewellery?
Someone with a confident unique spirit, has a fun sense of humour and expresses her fabulous self with what she wears! Thats my kinda gal 😉

You can shop I Love Crafty here and please don’t forget to visit them on Facebook.
