Goodnight Moon

Lovely moon, I am in a dreamy mood.

That’s why I’m dressed in pastels from head to toe.

Check: Frills, glitter, cuteness, fluffiness. Yes, we have it all.

An opalescent moon looking at an iridescent star on my ears.

Doesn’t my glitter clutch look like a galaxy painted in white?

Feeling comfortably wrapped in a purple world.

Lilac lips again: Still my favourite lipstick.

A girl’s dream came true: I finally have my own unicorn.

Are you moonstruck? Since I was a little girl I was fascinated by the moon. As a child I used to sit outside in the night, staring at the sky and asking myself if there really is a man living on the moon. The moon’s craters still seem to look like a smiling face looking down to earth to me from time to time.

Today, I am wearing the moon on my ears and a unicorn around my neck. What else can a girl ask for? Yes one more thing: A piece of Meadham Kirchhoff. The blouse I’m wearing is my loot from their Topshop collection and it’s already among my wardrobe highlights. I’m a big fan of Meadham Kirchhoff . Their uncompromising world full of pastels, colourful fur and cute girlishness, looks just like the happiest thing on earth to me. Fashion from somewhere over the rainbow to please all Dorothies close and far from Emerald City.

When I created this look I immediately knew this is something I would wear again and again. I think it’s 100% me. I can’t decide if it’s the moon spell or the unicorn magic that makes me feel so good today…

Sweet colours for a sweet occasion.

Today I am celebrating anniversary day with my love.

For this event I wanted to look like a story book princess.

This ring was his lovely gift to me today. It’s the first ring he gave me.

I love the colour of the aqua chalcedony stone. This stone is said to banish fear and stimulate creativity.

The fascinator was made especially to fit my dress. I am even more pleased with it than I expected to be.

Tender flowers, feathers and just a little bit of netting.

I hope my love will be proud to go out with me today…

I hope you are not tired of all the glamourous party looks right after Christmas and New Year. You didn’t see me wearing a festive outfit, because I spent my New Year’s eve rather casual with a few lovely friends and a lot of fun. My big event was a few days later:

The anniversary day with my darling. We spent the eve at a beautiful place with a view over the whole city and a delicious five course dinner. It was already our forth anniversary day and I am still so very happy. Three and a half years ago I left London – the city of my heart – for my love. It was a very hard decision back then and I still miss London. But I don’t regret it at all and can’t imagine living without my darling anymore.

For our anniversary day I wanted to look especially lovely and chose a pastel pink princess look. During our last holidays in Barcelona I found this dress in a vintage store. Since then it waited in my wardrobe for a special occasion. Ingenious milliner Carolina from Jazzafine made the fascinator to fit my pastel pink dream dress. It was the first time I had a fascinator custom-made to fit a dress, I am sure you can imagine the tension when I opened the parcel. I think it looks better than I could have imagined and just fit for a perfect day.

Bam Bam! Another day on my mission to colour the world. I am the Tasmanian Devil of colours and I mix together in a wild frenzy what crosses my way. Bam Bam says my belt and that’s exactly how I feel. My pom pom addiction has come back as well. Do you understand why when you see this pink marabou feather earrings?

When I spotted my new rainbow crop top in a vintage shop in Zurich, I had to think of my friend Jessica from Dazzle & Jolt instantly. She is a big inspiration to me, because she is the most colourful person I ever met. Just thinking about her helps me to never get gray and boring. I think the pattern of the top is rather unusual for vintage clothes. I wonder who owned it before and imagine that she bedazzled her boyfriend or had fun at the beach while wearing it.

I am hiding a Heattech top and a second pair of tights beneath my outfit, to make it fit for this cold day. Even if I love scarves and fluffy jumpers, I refuse to wear them every day. Heattech is the solution how to wear less thick things without freeze to death. People always wonder how I manage to go out with just a thin top, now you know my secret.

Vivienne Westwood with socks, would the queen of punk and fashion agree?

This crazy fruit girl is ready to turn into her more elegant “Winter Self” for this post. But don’t worry: I’ll stay quirky and next summer will come sooner than you think (maybe even in the next post). I see it as my fashion goal to reinvent my style again and again and therefore I enjoy change. I don’t want to be a stereotype, I am no hipster, no vintage girl, no goth and no trash queen, I am simply me: A girl who is excited about her big playground called fashion.

This is the outfit I was wearing for my darling’s birthday. We had dinner at our favourite Indian restaurant in the city. My darling bought me the green dress during our holidays in Barcelona, because he loved the colour. I thought his birthday is the perfect occasion to wear the dress for the first time.

I think what completes the look is the velvet rose fascinator from Jazzafine. While I have a lot of bigger and more crazy fascinators, I love about this one that it’s delicate and has a perfect size to wear it to a lot of occasions. My Poisonberry lipstick from Lime Crime seems to be made for matching the fascinator.

These black Vivienne Westwood for Melissa shoes have been on my wish list for ages, but I missed them when they were on sale. Finally I found a new pair on a platform like Ebay and almost forgot to sleep till the bidding was over. I am a huntress I confess, but a vegetarian one and instead of animals I hunt Melissa shoes. Would you be interested to see a post with my whole collection?

I am very glad we shot this outfit, because it’s connected to a wonderful day and I treasure the sweet memories. I wish you a happy day as well, it’s lovely your read this post!

Do you think golden pineapples are holy? I don’t know, but they are gorgeous for sure!

Did I promise you more pineapple looks? Here is another one and it’s even more fruity than the last one. Probably this will be the last crop top I show you this season, before it gets too cold.

I am madly in love with the pineapple fascinator. Sometimes I wear it at home to just sit on the sofa or do the washing up, because wearing it makes me so happy. It’s very Carmen Miranda and I think the colour combination of the golden pineapple and the green headband is perfect. Definitely another favourite from my favourite hatter Pearls & Swine!

During this summer, I gained a lot of self confidence. When spring arrived, I didn’t know if I would ever wear a crop top again, because I was not sure if this trend is still fine for girls no longer in their teens. This is the shortest crop top I bought and I am really happy to wear it. I think we all should be more daring, have fun and don’t care too much about the perfect body magazines show us. Models are old with 25 nowadays, isn’t that ridiculous?

Eat pineapples, eat chocolate cake and wear crop tops or whatever you like to my lovelies and never let somebody teach you something else! Whatever you wear, wear it with confidence and it will look stunning.

Yellow dip dye tights go surprisingly well with baby blue heels, what a new discovery!

Sometimes I wish the world was made of candy floss. Imagine a place where everything is full of pastels, candy and softness. Anything harmful or bad is beyond the imagination. I love strong bright colours, but if there is something like a paradise, I like to think it must be filled with pastels. This soft colours mean peace, tenderness and dreaminess to me.

Because of my thoughts about paradise, I combined the dip dye dress with it’s cute bow back detail with lace gloves and angelic jewellery. I had the paintings of Raffael in my mind when I choose my accessories and gave the outfit a touch of a madonna with unblemished hands.

I wish I would be invited to a wedding and would love to wear this outfit. But why not just wearing it out for any occasion? I believe that the perfect dress should be worn and not be stored till the perfect moment for it arrives. You make the moment perfect. I would even go out dressed like this just to buy a bottle of milk and turn a very ordinary moment into my pastel dream.

I will ignore the darker autumn colours that are sneaking into the shops as long as possible. Down jackets? Nobody needs them, as long as there are light girly things spreading fun instead.

I definitely need the flower print top with the cute metallic bows and the Melissa heels. I think the lightning bolt bag is a winner too. I have a lot of fancy bags, but just a few bags for everyday use. This one could be the solution. I really have to restrain myself, not to order everything and I just hold back because I want to leave some pretty things for you.

Lolita Gone Kaboom

Let’s go boom, bang, boink.

A firework of comic explosions on a dress.

Please don’t say “Yuk” to this outfit.

Just eat a giant gummi bear and enjoy.

Ups, I have a “Boink” on my bottom.

And a squid on my arm. What a crazy world!

But I love it and don’t put my heart shaped glasses of.

But dance into the night with my first flock shoes from Melissa.

Boom! Here I am with a new outfit post. I am so, so, so addicted to Lazy Oaf. For a long time I wanted this dress, but restrained myself. I am a shopping addict without doubt, but even I have limits and there are already many pieces from this shop in my wardrobe. But when I saw the dress on sale, all the good intentions were gone instantly. What shall I say? I love it and it’s really causing big badaboom explosions of fashion happiness.

Jewellery from delicious Australian label Eat.Me.Do completes the look. Gummi bear and squid, nice menu, isn’t it? Do you say “Yuk”? Exactly, this is what is written on my back. I discovered this patch on Instagram and couldn’t get the word Yuk out of my head anymore. I sewed it onto a vintage denim jacket, which was a little bit boring on it’s own. The patch turned it into a cool piece again. I might add other patches in the future.

Have you ever seen the movie Cloud Atlas? You really should, it’s a brilliant movie and unlike anything else I’ve ever seen on the screen. Why is she talking about movies now you might ask. Simple, because of a very special scene in this movie: There is a restaurant in a futuristic city called Neo Seoul. All the waitresses are Asian girls with a bob haircut and the same outfit. They wear the Melissa Patchuli shoes, just like I do in this post. I think I made funny noises of excitement in the cinema, when I saw all this girls with this wonderful shoes. It was the first time ever I spotted Melissa shoes in the cinema and this shoe is connected to the movie forever now. I wish they had Lazy Oaf dresses too…

Picking All the Berries

I don’t just have ice cream, but as well a brand new candy bag.

My new love is so vibrant and pink.

What is this spell, the colours purple, pink and red cast on me? Why do this colours make me so happy? This outfit unites them and has become one of my favourites as soon as I put it on for the first time. It seems to be a true energy outfit and wearing it makes me feel powerful.

The ice cream dress I spotted first on the blog of my one and only favourite blogger and lovely friend Fashion Hayley and wrote an excited comment. Unfortunately it wasn’t available on the page of the shop anymore, but fabulous Hayley found it for me in their outlet store and sent it all the way from Melbourne. Thank you so very much Hayley, you are not just the most inspiring person I’ve ever seen, but a very sweet girl too!

What was the first thing from this outfit you liked? Probably the bag? Yes, Lovely Sara has a Furla Candy Bag now. I tried to convince myself for a long time, I don’t need it, but the video with Japanese Blogger Misha Janette told me otherwise and when I had it in my little greedy fashion fingers, I couldn’t put it to the shelf anymore. The power of pink is always bigger than me.

The Vivienne Westwood for Melissa shoes are a gift from my boyfriend, he somehow managed to buy them just in front of my nose without me seeing it. What a lovely surprise! To continue with gifts I won this bangle from Swarovski, can’t believe what a lucky girl I am. I am very grateful to have amazing people around me and that I have the chance to live in my Barbie-Jelly-Fashion-Glitter-World.

Summer Time, Jelly Time

Do you remember the jelly sandals from the 90s? They are back and they don’t come alone. While I am the biggest fan of the label Melissa and wear jelly shoes since I heard about their existence as a teenager, this year jelly shoes seem to invade the streets and are everybody’s darling. A lot of labels supply us with shiny, pretty shoes, made of plastic. They are comfortable, don’t mind getting wet and spread summer feelings immediately.

Here I show you a little selection of the prettiest jellys I’ve spotted for you. I counted 20 pairs of jelly shoes on my shoe shelf right now and I tell you, this addiction is unstoppable. If you don’t have any jelly shoes, now the time is right. No matter if you go for comfortable sandals, beach-style flip flops or elegant high heels: Jelly Shoes have to be part of your summer dream this year.
