In love with this cute Vivienne Westwood x Melissa cuties.

Is life a game? Unfortunately not always, but why not add some playfulness! Fashion is a perfect excuse to carry around your former toys the whole day, no matter what age you are.

Of course I loved Barbie the most of all the toys. No surprise for a girl like me with a shoe cabinet full of jelly shoes and an addiction for pink. In this post you see the newest addition to my jelly shoe collection. The amazing Vivienne Westwood x Melissa high heels came into my life through Zalando. It was a real pleasure to receive one of the familiar white and orange parcels, with the Melissa bubblegum scent already clearly recognizable from the outside.

My Barbie leg earrings awake sweet memories of afternoons spent imaging big drama scenes and perfect love stories with the pretty dolls. The earrings are made by Anne-Sophie Cochevelou, I wrote about her amazing art in this post. The Barbies I used to play with as a child are still stored safely in the attic of my parent’s house and the thought of sending them to Anne-Sophie and letting her make something for me with them is stuck in my head. Maybe one day this will happen…

A toy world can’t be complete without the ponies with their pastel manes from “My Little Pony”, therefore they decorate my blouse. Years ago I used to believe that every age has dressing restrictions and this blouse would have been a no go in my eyes for a woman of my current age. I think since then borders have been loosened and people are more allowed to wear what they like no matter how old they are. I love this attitude and maybe I’ll be a crazy old lady one day, still wearing Barbie earrings and pink lipstick. Why not? Staying cheerful isn’t something anybody should ever loose! Do you wanna play with me?
What are your thoughts about this outfit and toys in fashion?

It doesn’t happen very often that hair products create a big hype. Bleach London made this come true when they realized their range of hair products, inducing 12 colour creams in exciting shades. Bleach is a London based hair saloon and the place to go for hair in all the colours of the rainbow.

When I went to London last time, I  bought a whole basket full of Bleach products and here is what I think about them:

Bleach Rosé Super Cool Colour
This is a super cool colour indeed, no exaggeration! Most important: It doesn’t have a yellowish shade, what I experienced on my hair with other pastel pink dyes. It’s very easy to use – almost like a conditioner – and it doesn’t drip. I needed a little bitt less than half of the bottle for my chin length hair and was surprised that it just takes 15 minutes to have my hair dyed. The colour is non permanent (unless for example Directions, which are semi permanent) and washes out very fast.

When I washed it out after applying it, I already had the feeling that a lot of colour was running down the sink. My hair was a pretty vibrant pastel pink. After washing my hair again the colour already faded to a pale candy floss pink. Washing my hair every day, I was back to completely blonde within a week.
Bleach Silver Shampoo
Don’t want brassy and yellow tones in your hair? Then this is your product! I love silver shampoos and this is a very good choice. My hair really looks more ashy after using it. I think if you leave it on for too long, you might get purple hair.

Bleach Everyday Dry Shampoo
Using dry shampoo is a good way to keep your hair colourful for a little longer. I don’t think this one does a better job than other dry shampoo, but I dislike most of them because of their awful smell, while this one has a very lovely scent. This makes it a winner and I will buy it again!

Bleach Washing Out Liquid

This product was actually one I was very eager to try, because I always wished to have something that speeds up the fading process. Sadly it is the only Bleach product which disappointed me. I couldn’t see an effect at all. I still have two bottles and might use it again just to get rid of it.

My Conclusion About the Bleach Products
I wholly recommend you all products from Bleach expect the Washing Out Liquid. I have to mention that everything from Bleach smells just divine and I love the packaging. I definitely would like to try more products and I have my eyes especially on the colours Parma Violets, Blullini and Washed Up Mermaid.

All products from Bleach are under 10£ and available at Boots or directly on their homepage.

Did you already try products from Bleach London or would you like to?

The probably most comfy and warm boots I’ll ever have: My pink Dr. Martens.

Yes, I love everything cute, but today cuteness includes a hint of punk. The dress I am wearing is from my favourite Spanish label Yiddish Chutzpah. Their latest collection (which I introduced here) is inspired by punk and designer Gema Alonso influenced me too in how I styled my dress.
Of course there are no other shoes than Doc Martens to be considered. Because I am no true punk but rather a candy girl, I choose pink ones with a cosy pink fur on the inside. I must say, they are probably the best fitted shoes for winter I ever had. It’s no coincidence, they are popular among postmen and police officers (of course not in my pink version).
A punk inspired look is never complete without fishnet tights and a few studs. As a contrast I wear my new cat fascinator from my hat genie Pearls & Swine. The silver dress reminds me a little bit of a garment for a female super heroine. A futuristic cat-woman, why not? When it’s cold outside, I am a huge fan of staying home and watching science fiction movies, maybe it reflects already in what I wear. At the moment I am very much into Star Trek again, just like in my teenage years.
Even I agree, that it takes a little bit of courage, to walk through the city like this, but I think “Let them stare, at least I can make sure they see something extraordinary today.”
How do you like this punky look lovelies?

Japanese cherry blossoms and pretty cages: Isn’t this romantic?
jelly shoes, juju shoes, chelsea boots, glitter
Wearing glitter boots, that’s how I roll.

Birds in cages dream of flying high, high on the sky. Freedom is a precious thing for those who lack it. Seeing animals imprisoned in zoos always causes a little bit of sadness in me, despite the joy of being able to see tigers, lions and elephants, without traveling to places far away and going to a safari. Therefore I am happy, that they are pretty bird cages on my top, but just beautiful cherry blossoms instead of imprisoned animals. The sweet illustration on my top makes me think of an Asian fairy tale, just like Disney’s Mulan. I’ll never stop being a Disney girl for sure.

I am back to pink hair as you can see. Feeling like a bird myself again, Sara the flamingo. And lucky me is a free bird as well. Free to wear whatever I want, free to have fun and enjoy myself.
This is one of my genuine vintage looks again. I know a few of you would love more of my fifties looks. I wasn’t very much into the mood for this kind of style lately, but a visit to Collectif Clothing changed everything instantly. I couldn’t leave without this skirt and top. Especially the velvet skirt caught my eyes immediately. It’s amazing: Like no other shop, Collectif seems to have discovered the secret of how to make girls feels like ladies, just with a piece of clothing.

Add a little bit of glitter – just like I do with my shoes – and every gray day will have a happy end. How do you like this pink look my lovelies?

How to not get moody while it get’s colder from day to day? I admit it’s hard, but wearing colours and tropical prints is the best antidote. Adding fun to your outfits helps to keep the summer spirit in your heart!

My new T-Shirt from Dazzle & Jolt is perfect for my mission to keep summery. When it arrived, it was instant love. The adorable parrot print in the very bright colours won over my heart and I love the casual fit. I was a little bit afraid it might not look well, like long T-Shirts sometimes do on a curvy girl like me, but there was no reason to worry at all. Since I love parrots this will be among my favourites from now on.

To be prepared for quickly changing weather, the neon green rain coat is my first choice. Plastic jackets have always been among my favourites and I wish I had one in every bright colour. Because this outfit is rather casual, I wear a multi coloured sequin skirt for a touch of glitter. Something shiny never hurts!

Dressed like this I suddenly feel like dancing, no matter if there is rain or sun. What are your secrets to keep yourself in a summer mood and how do you like this outfit?

The probably best thing about this dress is the cute back.
dip dye tights, melissa shoes, vivienne westwood, lady dragonball
Yellow dip dye tights go surprisingly well with baby blue heels, what a new discovery!

Sometimes I wish the world was made of candy floss. Imagine a place where everything is full of pastels, candy and softness. Anything harmful or bad is beyond the imagination. I love strong bright colours, but if there is something like a paradise, I like to think it must be filled with pastels. This soft colours mean peace, tenderness and dreaminess to me.

Because of my thoughts about paradise, I combined the dip dye dress with it’s cute bow back detail with lace gloves and angelic jewellery. I had the paintings of Raffael in my mind when I choose my accessories and gave the outfit a touch of a madonna with unblemished hands.

I wish I would be invited to a wedding and would love to wear this outfit. But why not just wearing it out for any occasion? I believe that the perfect dress should be worn and not be stored till the perfect moment for it arrives. You make the moment perfect. I would even go out dressed like this just to buy a bottle of milk and turn a very ordinary moment into my pastel dream.

How do you like this romantic outfit my lovelies and do you love pastels too?

Imagine this stone came from a planet far, far away, where the whole surface is blue and shiny.

Sweet, sweet confusion! Today I am tricking your eyes with a psychodelic all over print and a handbag that is almost too good to be true. This outfit is a declaration of love to Asian fashion: The dress comes from Thailand/London based label Lalalove (Yes, I couldn’t resist to buy it after I told you about it) and the bag from Taiwanese label JumpFromPaper. I love the creativity and playful quirkiness Asian designers often display in their work. If I find a new label from this part of the world that satisfies my urge to be a walking rainbow, I always get very excited and feel like a little fashion explorer.

JumpFromPaper wasn’t actually found by me, but rather I was found by them. When they contacted me, I couldn’t believe I didn’t hear about them before, because my style is literally made to fit these bags. I already wrote a post about the label here if you are interested to learn more about them.
When my very own JumpFromPaper bag arrived, I instantly felt that we were gonna be very close friends. The quality of the bag is excellent and it’s super flat. There is a zipper at the bottom of the bag and when it’s open the bag gets a lot more roomy. Enough space for the things I carry around in my everyday routine is provided.
The bag gets a lot of looks and compliments. Isn’t it a wonderful achievement for a bag to make people smile? This makes my flamingo heart beat faster for sure.
What do you think about this outfit and are you amazed by Asian labels too?

Completing today’s look with a childhood dream of plastic glitter Juju shoes.

Did you know that flamingos are pink, because of a certain substance in their food? Imagine: I was at the zoo, sneaked into the enclosure of the flamingos and stole a little bit of their food secretly. Mistrustful, I smelled at it, wrinkled my nose first, but overcame my doubts bravely and ate it all. It was my secret dream to be a flamingo and to have beautiful pink feathers, so I had to try. Impatiently I waited and waited and finally something happened. At first, just a few of my hair started to glow in a bright, beautiful pastel pink, then more and more followed and suddenly what I was hoping for had come true: Finally I was a flamingo and all my hair was pretty pastel pink.

Of course, this is not what really happened, but isn’t it more exciting than just telling you I went to the hairdresser again? The new colour makes me feel like a Lovely Sara doll, especially with my false lashes. I love how the hair enhances the girly look of my outfit. Little girls love glitter, cute stickers, jelly shoes, plush and frills. I have them all in my outfit and seriously: I think this outfit wouldn’t have looked this good on me when I was still sweet fifteen.

My lovelies, I am very, very curious to hear what you think about this outfit and especially about my new hair colour.
