Another thing sweets and jewellery have in common: They both come in the cutest boxes.

New boots to start the autumn, I am ready for rain puddles and piles of leaves on my path.

What does Homer Simpson love more than anything else on earth? The one and only answer is not his family, his job, his neighbours or his sofa, but Doughnuts! Forget about cronuts they are a strange modern invention, only real doughnuts will do!

The sweet round rings mean the universe to Homer and so do they to my look of the day. My doughnuts are fresh from the I Love Crafty bakery. If you follow me on Instagram, you might have spotted them there; they caused quite a stir. No wonder, because they are even better than real sugar bombs: No greasy hands, but the full dose of sprinkles and sweetness. Rings, Necklaces, collar tips and bangles and all in different designs (or shall I say flavours?) make a decision very tough if you visit the I Love Crafty store. So the best might be to do it like Homer: Take them all!

My neon love, which started in the last outfit post, continues. This time with a top from Desire Clothing and nearly neon coloured hair. For once, I wear black boots, I bet something you didn’t see on me for a long time. I just loved the quality, and simple style of those shoes and I can wear them with nearly everything. Even a colour explosion girl like me is now and then comfortable with something that suits every look. While I don’t have to loose sleep over what shoes to wear, there is time to focus on other things: Let’s say doughnuts!

Sporty Look + Casual Attitude = Perfect Day!

There is so much sporting activities inspiration in fashion at the moment and even I – the probably least sporty person on earth – got a little bit infected. Now, I definitely won’t buy myself a pink jogging dress and restyle the look of Vicky Pollard from Little Britain, but I have my first ever tracksuit top now.

The print totally convinced me and won my heart. It’s part of the Adidas Originals x The Farm collection, a brilliant stroke from the label. All pieces designed by the Brazilian label are full of colourful, happy tropical prints. I love to combine my tracksuit with pieces that are not sporty at all, like you can see in this post. The jacket is too pretty for exercise anyway and deserves to be shown in the city. Wearing towering high heels instead of sneakers completes the look and brings it to a level far away from the playing field.

A few years ago, a look like this would have been on top of my Don’t list, but somehow this changed and now the time is just right. I don’t feel the need to be chic and feminine all the time, but love the “I don’t care” and easy dressing attitude. Adidas Originals, if you continue like this, I will have to make more space in my wardrobe!

I’ve been back for almost a month and still feeling the after-London-blues so much. I just wanna run to the airport in my highest heels and board the first plane to my beloved island. How could I leave the place where all the fun is happening? Missing the creativity, the open-mindedness and excitement.

With this shooting, I tried to capture a little bit of London-spirit: I was looking for the hugest graffitis I could find, reminding me a little bit of my favourite places in east London. Besides, nearly everything I wear comes from the UK. Especially for Lazy Oaf, the brand of my crop top and skirt, my love is never-ending. Sometimes I suspect their designer Gemma must be a secret spy in my fashion dreams, making one after one coming true.

If you were a green alien with blinking antennas on your head you wouldn’t attract more attention than going out dressed like this over here. Not all the feedback is positive, but guess what: I don’t care. I agree with them – Yes I am weird, so what’s the point? It’s even written on my chest in Barbie-style letters, no big news. Why is being weird something negative, can’t you just see it as the opposite of being ordinary and boring? Next London flight already booked. Hello flamingos, jungle queens and fruit girls! Time to take your dresses out and embrace spring, wearing your prettiest, tropical looks! I can’t tell you how excited I feel to finally leave the house without a thick scarf. After all the heavy coats, it feels like a great liberation. Goodbye fake fur coats, we will see us again early enough, you kept me warm well, but now it’s time to part! Spring fashion is here and its ‘s exciting, playful and cheeky!

Today’s look features a pink flamingo dress, so there was no way to avoid having it. I couldn’t resist to catch the first sun rays, even if I was in bed with a cold less than a week ago and I’m still not done with coughing. Even a rather sensible girl like me gets reckless, when it comes to showing off flamingo love. Some people started to refer to me as the flamingo queen. This makes me infinitely happy and is exactly what I dream to be in my wildest dreams.

Last summer I fell head over heel for tropical prints and fruits in fashion and it looks like this year this crush is back with equally strong emotions. I don’t want to repeat myself, but I am just not over those things yet. So be prepared for even more prints, more sandals, frilled socks and crop tops. Let the beach party begin!

Plastic is fantastic! That’s why I wear it from head to toe.

“Pardon miss, you do have toothpaste in your face.” “Oh really? Lucky me!” This conversation didn’t happen yet, but I am just waiting for it to come up since i got my new comical sunglasses from artist duo Craig & Karl. I love their illustrations and as well their collection of sunnies for Le Specs. I just see no point in buying ordinary sunglasses, but I crave for the weird, the eye-catching, the head-turning. The ordinary just bores me and makes me tired. Susie Bubble has been spotted wearing another model from the Craig & Karl collection and I am sure she would agree with me.

I recently came to love including white in my outfits. I think with my plastic coat I look a little like a not serious nurse from a trash movie. I even have to think about Daryl Hannah in Kill Bill wearing her white trench coat. She is just genius and I love her in that role. No, I am not whistling that particularly song, I bet you know which one… Instead of a stethoscope and injections, I’m bringing you cute Barbie accessories. I bet you prefer this to nasty needles.

There is a lovely story behind my tee as well: From now on I can proudly declare that the last unicorn is mine. Ok, to be honest it was the second last one, but that’s just a detail. When Jessica – my friend and designer of Dazzle & Jolt – told me that they almost sold all of them, I was faster than any horse in gallop and had to get it. I can resist many things, but I am certainly helpless against unicorns and flamingos. They are just invading my life with more success than any alien mission could ever have. Welcome strangers, fill my life with pink feathers and sparkles!

Do you already have that feeling that spring is close as well? It’s like a tickling in my fingers, this feeling of new things coming and the birth of change. Spring is the perfect time to get rid of unwanted things and habits! Time to sort out old things and feel as light as a bird in the sky afterwards.

My life seems to change fast at the moment. I don’t know where it leads me, but I know there are exciting things to come. The approaching spring is just the boost of energy needed to face the future and open the next page of the book called “Lovely Sara’s Adventures”.

After a proper spring-clean, it’s definitely time to treat yourself with a reward! What better reward is there than something thrilling in your wardrobe? The days of moody winter are numbered, time to colour yourself, colour the world!

I imagine the surface of some planets far, far away might look like my bangle.

Today, I’m gonna dance for you on my silver heels. Get the ufo party started!

I love party looks, even if I am no party girl that is often seen in all the clubs of the city. Calling an outfit a party look is the perfect excuse to style it bold, with a lot of glitter and statement accessories. So why not declaring the day to a party and celebrate with an outfit that means nothing but fun?

Because of the galaxy prints on my shirt and the strange but awesome squid creature earrings, I choose the title “Ufo Party” for this look. The whole outfit is a rather wild mixture of materials, prints and textures. Neon meets silver, Rough cotton is next to sleek nylon.

The shining stars of the outfit are the accessories: The neon pink 50s style sunglasses are a striking statement as well as the pink comic style bag. My ultra long squid earrings always cause such a stir whenever I wear them and I think they might as well come from another galaxy.

Despite my love for horror and science fiction movies, I love to imagine aliens as cute, a little bit crazy creatures. Maybe a little bit as in Mars Attacks from the way they look, but with a more friendly character. I think having a party with a few of this creatures I have in mind might be so much fun.

I’m a Walking Candy Floss

Today’s outfit is pink and fluffy.

Materials of the moment are fake fur and vinyl.

Just a hint of lilac makes the pastel look even better.

If you ever wondered if pastel yetis exist: The answer is yes!

A crowned head in powder shades and a rather surreal collar.

Looking cool and feeling warm at the same time is possible, don’t you agree?

Are you staring at my red shoes?

These roses don’t smell, but they are very tender nonetheless.

Who can say no to so many powder colours?

How much pink can fit in one outfit? I say a lot of! Powder pink seems to be the most trendy colour this season and I am excited to find whole shops looking like their content was delivered directly from candy floss country. There was a time in my life when I refused to wear any other colours than pink. I’m lucky to be more open-minded now, but pink will always have a big place in my heart and I feel comfortable wearing it.

Layering is the key when it comes to outfits for the colder seasons. At the moment I love to combine jumpers and blouses to keep myself warm. For a similar look like mine, but with a plain blouse, I think adding a pretty collar chain or collar tips would make a fabulous outfit.

I am excited that my all time favourite nail polish (Lilacism from Essie) matches exactly my new Quay sunnies. This outfit might be my first attempt to mix pastel pink and lilac and I can’t see why I didn’t do this before. Especially not after finding a wonderful fascinator from Jazzafine, that unites these colours. Wearing red shoes to this look might be a bold decision, some of you probably disagree about my choice. But I just needed a little colour clash. Even a pink yeti like me must love Kate Bush’s album “Red Shoes” and get influenced in his choice of footwear…

Lovely Label: Quay Eyeware

Whenever I leave the house, I take a pair of sunglasses with me. I couldn’t live without them, because it’s constantly too bright for my eyes. The ability of sunglasses to completely change the appearance of the wearer, makes them the perfect accessory.

I am excited about having the matching pair to every outfit and trying out different shapes and styles all the time. That’s why I was looking for an eyewear label that is affordable, fashionable and offers good quality. Quay Eyeware fulfills all of this and I want to share the fabulous brand with you:

Quay Eyeware is the Australian sunglass brand by Linda and Allen Hammond. The brand was born on the festival circuit by the music loving duo. What started as a small project soon grew and nowadays their glasses are retailed by Nastygal, Nordstrom and Asos, besides being sold by various Australian retailers and of course on their own homepage.

Tropical Paradise

How to not get moody while it get’s colder from day to day? I admit it’s hard, but wearing colours and tropical prints is the best antidote. Adding fun to your outfits helps to keep the summer spirit in your heart!

My new T-Shirt from Dazzle & Jolt is perfect for my mission to keep summery. When it arrived, it was instant love. The adorable parrot print in the very bright colours won over my heart and I love the casual fit. I was a little bit afraid it might not look well, like long T-Shirts sometimes do on a curvy girl like me, but there was no reason to worry at all. Since I love parrots this will be among my favourites from now on.

To be prepared for quickly changing weather, the neon green rain coat is my first choice. Plastic jackets have always been among my favourites and I wish I had one in every bright colour. Because this outfit is rather casual, I wear a multi coloured sequin skirt for a touch of glitter. Something shiny never hurts!
