I am obsessed with colours more than ever before and this style is proof. On other blogs, you will find a post like this as a mood board about colourful fashion, I say: Why not wear all these pieces together, just the way I show them? At least I would love to and declare this outfit to one of my dream outfits! I want ponies, I want rainbows, glitter and never forget about the pompoms!

I remember brushing the hair of my Little Ponies when I was a child, I loved their pastel coloured manes. I think the first ponies have been made when I was born or maybe a little bit earlier and so they were about the first toys I can remember too. Wearing them on a jumper would bring up a lot of nostalgia. I am sure the ponies would love the pompom clutch and the colourful accessories as much as I do.

What do you think about this outfit, would you wear it or just pick out one piece for yourself?

Mysterious undersea life and translucent crystals are among the main themes of Serena Kuhl’s jewellery. All her pieces come in the prettiest and brightest colours you can imagine. It’s amazing how this jewellery shines in the sunlight and it’s the perfect addition to any happy outfit.

All jewellery is designed and produced by Australian designer Serena Kuhl personally. The material of her choice is resin. It’s an extraordinary material, easy to care and pleasant to wear.

Serena is open for custom orders, if the perfect piece is not available in the colour of your dreams for example. Good news for the plus size girls among you too: There are some plus size bangles ready too.

I really can’t name a favourite from Serena Kuhl’s shop. All the pieces are amazing and I think they look best, if you combine a few of them. Due to the very reasonable prices, you don’t have to hold yourself back. I’ll keep you updated about my first Serena Kuhl pieces for sure. What is your favourite?

Marshmallow Skirt: Topshop, Lightening Bolt Bag: Paul’s Boutique,
Flower Print Top: Lashes of London, Flamingo Phone Case: Etsy, Bow Top: Miss Lovett,
Glitter Shoes: Minna Parikka, Cat Face Bag: Sugar + Style

This is a selection of the items I like best in the online shops at the moment. A lot of prints, pastels and cute details included to spread fun.
I will ignore the darker autumn colours that are sneaking into the shops as long as possible. Down jackets? Nobody needs them, as long as there are light girly things spreading fun instead.
I definitely need the flower print top with the cute metallic bows and the Melissa heels. I think the lightning bolt bag is a winner too. I have a lot of fancy bags, but just a few bags for everyday use. This one could be the solution. I really have to restrain myself, not to order everything and I just hold back because I want to leave some pretty things for you.
What do you think, which of this items can’t be missing in the perfect wardrobe?
tara starlet, tropical, know top, lime crime
Piep, piep, there comes an alien out of the jungle.

It’s no rumor: Aliens are green.

And they love to wear accessories obviously.
Lime Crime, mint lipstick, Natasha Lillipore, Hertinyteeth
Their eyes are very sensitive, so they love to wear sunglasses.
arm candy, squid, resin, sparkling glasses
There are loads of diamonds to be found in the jungle.

Watch out for alien girls, there might be more of them coming!

Look, my hair is already back to blonde. I wanted to see how long it takes till that happens and I am happy to know, that I can change from pastel pink to blonde in a week. I’ll definitely go back for pink again, but for this outfit blonde is just perfect.

I will have a little look into the future and this is what I predict: At least one of the comments for this outfit will be, that everything is beautiful expect the crazy lipstick. Lovelies, I am very grateful for all your warm compliments and as well open for criticism, but I won’t stop wearing weird lipstick colours. I am a crazy girl and I try to be bold, go to the borders and explore transformation. When I compare the looks when I started blogging with the latest few outfits, I see definitely a change. More colour and less fear. I feel like I am dancing on top of a wall, doing whatever fashion mischief I have in mind and trying to animate you to join me. Do you want to?

Today I thought it’s nice to be kind of a tropical alien. The outfit is a mix of vintage inspired items and recent fashion. The lot of green makes me think of something mysterious from outer space. In my imagination, it’s the colour of funny aliens, as seen in old science fiction movies. They don’t come to invade earth, instead they bring green jelly pudding for all of us. Yummy!

What do you think about this rather crazy look?

My Outfit:

Sitting in a beach chair, having big sun glasses on and drinking a Pina Colada with a lot of coconut cream. This is the scene I imagined, while putting together this outfit mood board – a decadent and quirky look for an opulent and crazy lady.

Don’t you think this crop top and fascinator were made for each other? When I was a child, I used to dress up as a pineapple for parties and carnival. I was working for days on my pineapple hat I made out of a bucket. The fascinator shown here is of course much more beautiful than my childhood hat, but it absolutely awakes the desire of putting a pineapple on top of my head again. This fashion eccentricity is definitely a must in my wardrobe!

From my last outfit post you know that I love the combination of crop top and pencil skirt and I can’t get enough of this trend. I think showing the belly is a little bit too much skin if you don’t plan to go to the beach. Just expose the midriff, this makes the look ready for the city!

So, do you wanna wear a pineapple hat too and drink Pina Colada with me?

Maybe you noticed: Surprisingly for a jewellery addict, I didn’t have pierced ears. I used to wear a lot of clip on earrings, but unfortunately the selection is very limited and I often caught myself craving for “real earrings”. A few days ago I finally was a brave girl and had my ears pierced for a very special reason (I’ll tell you more about this as soon as I can). I have to wait for five weeks, till I can wear earrings, but I am already counting the days. It’s like a new world is opening.

I was already browsing the shops for the most beautiful earrings and these are the treasures I found. Beautiful earrings can be the final touch to an exciting outfit, especially when they are big and colourful. I am excited to include them into my future outfits.

Which earrings are your favorites and do you often wear earrings yourself?

But dance into the night with my first flock shoes from Melissa.

Boom! Here I am with a new outfit post. I am so, so, so addicted to Lazy Oaf. For a long time I wanted this dress, but restrained myself. I am a shopping addict without doubt, but even I have limits and there are already many pieces from this shop in my wardrobe. But when I saw the dress on sale, all the good intentions were gone instantly. What shall I say? I love it and it’s really causing big badaboom explosions of fashion happiness.

Jewellery from delicious Australian label Eat.Me.Do completes the look. Gummi bear and squid, nice menu, isn’t it? Do you say “Yuk”? Exactly, this is what is written on my back. I discovered this patch on Instagram and couldn’t get the word Yuk out of my head anymore. I sewed it onto a vintage denim jacket, which was a little bit boring on it’s own. The patch turned it into a cool piece again. I might add other patches in the future.

Have you ever seen the movie Cloud Atlas? You really should, it’s a brilliant movie and unlike anything else I’ve ever seen on the screen. Why is she talking about movies now you might ask. Simple, because of a very special scene in this movie: There is a restaurant in a futuristic city called Neo Seoul. All the waitresses are Asian girls with a bob haircut and the same outfit. They wear the Melissa Patchuli shoes, just like I do in this post. I think I made funny noises of excitement in the cinema, when I saw all this girls with this wonderful shoes. It was the first time ever I spotted Melissa shoes in the cinema and this shoe is connected to the movie forever now. I wish they had Lazy Oaf dresses too…

What do you think, does this outfit make boom?

Get fruity, have fun!

The hot summer weather turns me more and more into a joyful fruit. While many of you might struggle to eat their five a day, I manage to fit many more fruits into my outfit. It was love at first sight, me and this outfit from the Lazy Oaf x Nasty Gal collection. The colourful fruits with their happy and sad faces seemed to shout “Take me, take me” into my ears.
This summer it’s a big trend to have matching skirts and cropped tops/bralets. You know that I don’t follow headless every trend, but this one suits my taste perfectly. I matched my clothes with sunglasses from Quay Eyeware to enhance the comic style look. Quay is my one and only favourite shop for glasses at the moment. You will get bold glasses in good quality for reasonable prices from them. Not just me, but as well stars like Gwen Stefani, Lady Gaga or Kelly Osbourne love the trendy glasses from the Australian label.
Last but not least, let’s talk about jewellery: Time for opulence! I got the bangles and rings (except the heart ring) as a gift from lovely Tessa from the blog Fashionresister. We girls do a little swapping from time to time and send each other surprise packages. This time we choose the topic “Holidays and Around the World” and Tessa’s parcel was all inspired by Barcelona. She said the bangles reminded her of the work of the artist Gaudi and I think they spread a huge dose of Mediterranean spirit. I imagine they might come from the place where happy fruits grow.
So my lovely readers, I hope you had your five a day and your mind is full of colours. I am very curious to hear your opinion about this look.

Don’t forget to enter my Sugar & Vice give away and stay tuned for more Lazy Oaf looks.

Eat.Me.Do is a world full of colourful and mouthwatering jewellery. Each piece looks like a tasty menu or a piece of food and there is something to serve everybody’s cravings. From broccoli, cherry pie, squid, Fruit Loops and pasta, everything what Eat.Me.Do turns into jewellery is a feast for the eyes. You might be tempted to put the beautiful things in your mouth, but beware: It looks to good to eat and therefore is made to last and sate your appetite for stylish fashion accessories day after day.

Melbourne based Designer Lara Ivachev is the creative mind behind the label Eat.Me.Do. After graduating with an advertising degree, Lara started in June 2012 to create handcrafted jewellery made from clay. After being moulded, the jewellery is baked in an oven and hand painted. Customer orders are welcome as well, just tell Lara about your favourite meal. Lara is the right person to turn all your dreams of chicken tikka and banana split into a tasty statement piece.

I adore that the jewellery from Eat.Me.Do looks so playful and happy. I believe everybody who sees this jewellery must immediately feel the love it was made with. All the pieces are extremely appetizing, yet this sweets are neither bad for your teeth, nor do they have any calories.

Five Questions to the designer:

Hi Lara, did you dream of making food jewellery for your whole life or how did this idea start?
No I never dreamed of making food jewellery at all. I always had a love for quirky, bright things…it came about after I discovered how much I enjoyed making the pieces and how much people loved them. No one wanted to give me a job,so I created my own.

What was the first piece of food you ever turned into jewellery?
The first food I ever turned into food was actually a string of banana! They were so fun and colourful!

What inspires you for your work?
I am inspired by anything quirky, bright, sparkly and 60’s inspired. I have a fetish for all things glittery and bubbly.

What is the connection between food and fashion in your opinion?
The connection between food and fashion in my eyes is the beautiful colours and somewhat novelty quality of food in fashion. I’m attracted to different and unique ways of using food in a wearable way that makes people fall in love.

What is your the menu of your dreams?
My dream menu would be one filled with mountains of sparkles, whipped cream, fruit and glazed cherries. I have a cheeky sweet tooth and can’t go past a sugar coated treat.
